Responsibilities:
• Manage all company operations, day-to-day and long term, including computer
operations, product development, project management/client services, end user
customer service, marketing operations, finance/administration and database
management/ reporting, website development, IT infrastructure management.
• Strategise and manage business development activities to improve revenue and
market share through competitive and innovative product/services to customers
• Work with internal and external vendors to deliver outstanding IT capabilities or
solutions which are aligned with business needs
• Build related processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics
across key functions
• Ensure all IT systems and infrastructures are safe and secure from external and
internal threats and take appropriate measures for risk management;
• Ensure IT system and infrastructure in the organisation is well maintained to
deliver timely and accurate services
• Develop succession planning and build a strong team through, developing and
retaining IT talent within the organisation.
Requirements:
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in IT or its equivalent with MBA preferable.
• More than 10 years of experience in a management position in a medium or large
organisation;
• Proven track record in designing and building efficient IT operations.
• Leadership in systems planning, selection and implementation;
• Strong business sense, ability to balance operational efficiency with agility and
innovation.
• Possess excellent people management and leadership skills, strong analytical skills,
excellent communications, pro-active and resourceful.
• Solid understanding of the major information technology trends and the key issues facing
IT organisations
